"As the coordinator of this great project I have to say that Euroknitters is not only a programme to apply at school but a deep moral on how cooperation is so important in today's world. This fantastic educational experience has given us the opportunity to look over the frontiers, to observe our neighbours and to be sure that the best option for our future is to be together because MY DEAR EUROKNITTERS TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG. Defenitely for sure. Thank you all".

"From the beginning, the Euroknitters project was a way of uniting teachers and students from a group of seven schools, with the aim of internationalizing the group of schools Agrupamento de Escolas do Cerco do Porto.
When the project was approved, we were all very happy and also very concerned to find a way to respond to all project expectations.
As a coordinator the challenge was huge, to get students from 8 to 10 years old to participate with their teachers, in this project that provided for the mobility to the foreigner and to speak in English.
But together, united with the international partners, so many children's dreams have come true!
Thank you for the enriching experience!"
ISABEL PELICANO, portuguese coordinator
This project implies 2 years of intense work that will be translated into activities in two modalities in a transversal way. "When the Spanish teachers told me about this project I was very worried because for my school and me it was the first experience in an Erasmus partnership. But step by step I liked everything about this project: I improved my English, I knew new cultures, traditions, and languages, I met new people, in particular new teachers that now are my friends. I understood that the real Europe is not that of the walls, but that of the relations and friendship. I understood that "only together" we can do big things. The force is in the Union, not in the barriers. It was a really great experience that will be in my heart for a long time because....I'm a Euroknitters! Thank you to everyone!"

"The "Euroknitters" program was a broad, ambitious project that set itself the goal of a number of important educational and social issues. Utilizing a calendar of goals and activities, a common website as a meeting / imprint of work and communication between us, as well as a range of well-designed and comprehensive mobility actions, children and staff throughout this partnership as a whole , came through it closer. With the ideas of "unity" and "cooperation" as a focal point, a wide range of activities were developed to cover different themes of the curriculum, seeking to integrate all participants.During the project, we had had substantial opportunities to further develop our language skills (through conversation, reading and writing), to develop communication skills. In addition, we discovered a variety of cultural traditions in each partner's "face" related to the concept of "we can all together" (through games and entertainment). The main goal of this project , to enable all of us to recognize the different roles that peoples play in their historical and cultural heritage, uniting different communities and defining their sense of belonging, has succeded!!!!!!!"
KONSTANTINA PAPALOUKA, greek coordinator.
